Leicester hooker Benjamin Kayser is relishing the competition for places at Welford Road and has his sights set on the France Six Nations squad. Kayser is a regular at Tigers but has been overlooked by his country.
But he told BBC Radio Leicester: "The competition is big but I'm pleased with my game time and I hope it keeps going.
"I have been told I will have my chance in the Six Nations but when or how I have no idea. I just have to keep working hard."
Kayser, who has been swapping with England hooker George Chuter in recent weeks, added: "I've always been used to competition.
"I had huge competition at Stade but I am enjoying every single minute."
And Kayser says he has been told he is still very much part of the international set-up.
"There's a new generation of players they want to bring in over the next four years," he said. "And I want to be part of it."
