Neil Back warns Leeds Carnegie of Crociati trip

Back's Leeds have won two out of three games in Europe this season

Leeds head coach Neil Back has warned his side that they face a tough test when they travel to meet Crociati in the European Challenge Cup on Saturday.

Leeds beat the Italian side 55-6 at Headingley last weekend to record only their second victory of the season.

Back told BBC Radio Leeds: "It will be very different this time. They have some of their best players back and will want to win on home turf.

"They will have nothing to lose and will throw everything at us."

Following their trip to Parma, Leeds travel to Newcastle on Boxing Day.

The Falcons lie 11th in the Premiership, seven points above winless Leeds who prop up the table.

"It was a good performance against Crociati and you could see the confidence and belief grow in the players as that game went on," added Back.

"It was great to see smiles on their faces at the end of the game and I'm pleased for them because they have worked so hard.

"However we know we need to be even better and improve on that this week.

"We need to stick to the game plan, the game plan we are building ahead of the Newcastle match.

"We need to improve further this week to get to the level we will need to be at going into the next three Premiership matches."
