Leeds Carnegie winger Lee Blackett wants two quick wins
Blackett has played every minute of Leeds' opening three matches
Leeds winger Lee Blackett has said his side need to win their next two matches to put their Premiership campaign back on track.
The Yorkshire side have lost their opening three matches and next travel to Leicester and then London Irish.
Blackett told BBC Radio Leeds: "We always knew these first five games were going to be very tough.
"We targeted two wins from these first five games. Who says we can't still do that?" he added.
Leeds have lost at home to Bath and Saracens and away to Gloucester, and sit bottom of the table.
The winger said: "If we want to be a top six side then maybe we needed to be winning more than two of the first five games, but with it being such a tough start two was realistic.
"Leicester lost to Wasps and that gives us hope going to Welford Road and we fully believe we can win there.
"And who says we can't do to Irish what we did there last season?
"But if we don't turn it around soon we will find ourselves in the exact same position where we need two or three wins just to get off the bottom of the table.
"We are a better team than that.
"[Saracens winger] David Strettle came off the pitch and said to me that we'll beat some teams here this year, but we've played two and lost two [at home] and it's not good enough so far."
