Gloucester prop Alasdair Dickinson has agreed a new deal with the club which will keep him at Kingsholm until the end of the 2008/9 season. The 24-year-old Scotland international joined Gloucester from Magners League side Edinburgh last summer. Dickinson told the club's website: "I am thriving in the environment that has been created at Gloucester and I am positive the best is yet to come. "It is a great place to play rugby, the club's success dominates the city." Dickinson has played nine games for Gloucester this season and made his first Guinness Premiership start against Leeds on Saturday.
