Gloucester have signed Edinburgh forwards Alasdair Dickinson and Alasdair Strokosch on one-year deals. Flanker Strokosch won his first senior Scotland call-up last autumn while prop Dickinson has played for Scotland A.
Gloucester head coach Dean Ryan said: "We're careful who we want to attract but feel both of these players will add tremendously to our pool of talent.
"They played against us in the Heineken Cup this season and impressed greatly - they typify what we are looking for."
