Nadolo scored for Bourgoin in the defeat by Exeter earlier this season |
Exeter Chiefs are set to sign Fiji international winger Nemani Nadolo from French side Bourgoin. The 23-year-old, who saw the Chiefs defeat Bourgoin in the Challenge Cup at Sandy Park on Saturday, is now waiting for a visa to complete the move. Chiefs coach Rob Baxter told the club website: "He was out of contract next season, but Bourgoin's problems meant he became available now. "He is a good player who we feel can develop further." Nadolo, who has previously played for Australian side New South Wales Waratahs, joined Bourgoin at the start of the season. He has scored three tries in 13 league games, but has become available for a move as a result of the French side's financial problems. "Hopefully we can get his visa sorted quickly enough for him to have some involvement in the LV= Cup games in the next month," added Baxter.
