Kimlin made his international debut for Australia against Italy in June 2009 |
Exeter Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Australian lock Peter Kimlin on a three-month contract. The 25-year-old international forward joins the Devon side from Super 15 outfit ACT Brumbies. Head coach Rob Baxter said: "We've signed a guy who wants to play immediately, and that's a great scenario to be in. "He is a big physical specimen, he's athletic, and just what you need in the modern game." Kimlin, who has been capped twice by Australia, was out injured for the majority of last season for his club side ACT Brumbies. Baxter added: "Like anyone in the squad he will have to play well and prove his worth. "I'm pretty confident he will do that and when he gets his opportunity, I want him to show he is a decent player."
