Kevin Maggs
Maggs is one of the few players to have represented both Bristol and Bath

Former Ireland centre Kevin Maggs has left Bristol by mutual agreement.

The 34-year-old, who also enjoyed spells with Bath and Ulster, returned to Bristol in 2007 for his second spell having started out as a Bristol Colt.

Maggs left for Bath in 1998 and stayed for six seasons before moving to Ulster to play in the Magners League.

He made his Ireland debut against the All Blacks in November 1997 and went on to play in the 1999 and 2003 World Cups winning a total of 70 caps.

Bristol rugby chief executive Steve Gorvett said: "Kevin is a Bristolian through and through.

"He started out at the club as a youngster and went on to have a marvellous international career."
