Bristol have parted company with Corin Palmer in an effort to cut costs. Palmer joined from London Irish in 2006 as rugby operations manager before taking up the position of general manager at the start of this season. CEO Steve Gorvett explained: "Given the current very difficult economic conditions we are having to look at all areas of the business to reduce costs." Gorvett also praised Palmer for helping put the club at "the forefront of the Premiership" in his time there.
