Bristol full-back Luke Arscott has signed a new two-year contract at the Memorial Stadium, extending his stay until 2010. Arscott joined Bristol from Plymouth Albion in 2006, and has since established himself as Bristol's first-choice full-back.
The 23-year-old said: "I'm very happy. It's a real weight off my mind and I can concentrate on playing now.
"There is a good bunch of boys here and Bristol is a great place to live."
Bristol head coach Richard Hill said: "Luke is an outstanding young player with great potential. He has natural flair which is exciting to watch. I am sure he will develop into a very fine full-back for Bristol."
Luke has forged an exciting partnership with his brother Tom who followed him to the Memorial Stadium last year.
