Bristol have signed full-back Luke Arscott from National League One Plymouth Albion on a two-year deal. Arscott, one of the bright lights of Plymouth's season, will join up with Bristol for pre-season training.
"Luke's a young lad with a very bright future," said coach Richard Hill. "We first saw him last season and have watched him a few times since.
"I hope we can bring him on in the same way as we have with Shaun Perry, Lee Robinson and Dan Ward-Smith."
Arscott, 21 has represented Devon and joined Albion from Exeter Chiefs.
"It's a massive opportunity for me and it's been an ambition of mine to play in the Premiership for a very long time," he said.
"I really hope that I can show what I can do at the highest level.
"I've obviously kept in touch with (former Plymouth players) Lee (Robinson) and Dan (Ward-Smith) and they've both done incredibly well this season. And then you look at what Shaun Perry has done this season - it's awesome. It gives me a real incentive to try and make a similar impact."
