Vickery missed England's last two games in the Six Nations

The Wasps prop, 31, suffered concussion after he was punched by Jason Hobson at the start of March and had to miss England's last two matches.

"I had to step back and be miserable for a few weeks. It happened and I hope he feels disappointed," said Vickery.

"If he doesn't he will get his just deserts one day I suppose. What goes around comes around."

After viewing footage of the incident Bristol suspended Hobson for two weeks and he was subsequently handed a three-week ban by the Rugby Football Union.

"I spoke to (Bristol coach) Richard Hill and he was bitterly disappointed with what happened," said Vickery.

"He apologised on behalf of Bristol rugby club. Such is life."

Vickery's last Six Nations match was the 43-13 mauling by Ireland and he had been looking forward to the chance to get that performance out of his system.

"The Bristol game was a huge match for Wasps at the time. We played really well and I was having one of my better games for a while," said Vickery.

"After the frustration of the Ireland game it was a good game to be involved in and I was just looking forward to the next England match.

"It all got cut short which was frustrating."

Vickery has made a full recovery and is available for Saturday's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Leinster, but he admitted he felt very strange after being punched by Hobson.
