Vickery misses England's last two Six Nations matches |
Bristol prop forward Jason Hobson has been banned for three weeks for punching England captain Phil Vickery. Vickery suffered concussion and was ruled out of England's Six Nations win over France as well as the tournament finale against Wales.
The incident came during Bristol's defeat to Wasps on 4 March.
The club had already banned the 24-year-old tight-head for two weeks before a complaint was lodged by the independent citing commissioner.
Hobson's ban will rule him out of action until 26 March.
London Irish full-back Delon Armitage has received a one-week ban after being
sent off for striking an opponent during last Saturday's Guinness Premiership
victory over Bristol.
Armitage, who appeared before a three-man RFU panel, will miss Irish's home
Premiership clash against Wasps on Sunday.
