Bristol duo David Blaney and Dave Attwood have signed new two-year deals with the Premiership high-flyers. Former Leinster hooker Blaney, 26, only joined the club in August after the injuries to Saul Nelson and Neil Clark.
Despite joining the club late, Blaney has made six starts and has done enough to earn a long-term contract.
Attwood, 19, has made four replacement appearances for the first team and is with England's under-20 squad preparing for Friday's game against Scotland.
The second row, who played in England's under-19 World Cup campaign, has now penned his first senior contract.
"David Blaney was really up against it when he joined us," said head coach Richard Hill.
"He hadn't been through pre-season with us and we threw him right in at the deep end.
"But he's got down to some serious hard work and established himself as an integral and popular member of the squad.
"He's going to have a part to play in the remainder of this season but should be able to contribute even more next season with a decent preseason behind him.
"Dave Attwood is exactly the sort of young, local talent that we want coming through the ranks at Bristol.
"We feel that he has a big future and we want that future to be with us."
