Ireland's record points scorer Ronan O'Gara has won back the number 10 shirt from Jonathan Sexton for Sunday's Six Nations clash against Scotland. Leinster star Sexton had started in the matches against Italy and France. Ospreys winger Tommy Bowe replaces Fergus McFadden after missing the first two matches because of a knee injury. The only other change from the defeat at home to France sees Eoin Reddan come in at scrum-half for Tomas O'Leary who has been suffering from a back strain. O'Gara will win his 106th cap as he makes his first start since facing Samoa in November. The 33-year-old Munster fly-half made an impact from the bench against Italy, when he landed the match-winning drop-goal, and France. While Sexton may feel he has done little wrong, Ireland will be hoping O'Gara's return inspires confidence in a side that has been error-prone so far during the Six Nations. Bowe played for the Ospreys in their Magners League win over Treviso. Donncha O'Callaghan is named in the second row where he will win his 70th cap for Ireland, while Brian O'Driscoll will captain the team for the 73rd time. Stephen Ferris has been ruled out of the game with Scotland and is expected to see a specialist on Friday as he struggles to overcome a troublesome knee injury. The Ulster flanker has not yet been ruled out of the matches against Wales and England in mid-March. Ireland secured a narrow win over Italy in their opening Six Nations match and were then defeated by France at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
