Highlights and reaction from Leinster's 15-3 Magners League win over Ulster at the RDS

Leinster took over at the top of the Magners League table after beating Ulster at the RDS on Saturday.

Shaun Berne and Niall O'Connor exchanged penalties before Gordon D'Arcy fed Rob Kearney who raced clear to score a try under the posts.

Early in the second half Kearney turned provider with his pass setting up Jamie Heaslip who shrugged off a couple of challenges before scoring in he corner.

It means Ulster have still not won away to Leinster for over 10 years.

Ulster fielded an under-strength team with internationals Paddy Wallace, Tom Court and Stephen Ferris rested.

Leinster, however, had most of their big names on display as they made it 10 straight league wins at their Dublin base.

Berne opened the scoring on 10 minutes but Ulster fly-half O'Connor was not as accurate when Sean O'Brien was penalised for a stray boot at a ruck.

Ulster blindside flanker Thomas Anderson was sin-binned after he was adjudged to have gone over the top of a ruck.

O'Connor then sent over a good penalty after Leinster were caught offside to level matters at 3-3.

Leinster quickly regained the lead with Kearney's try five minutes before the break.

D'Arcy made the score with a neat step and offload and Kearney raced onto the pass to outpace the Ulster cover and score with Berne's conversion making it 10-3 at half-time.

Leinster got their second try six minutes into the second half when Kearney gathered his own kick and passed to the supporting Heaslip, who pushed full-back Jamie Smith away with a powerful hand-off before touching down.

Ulster looked more threatening in the closing half-hour and could have secured a losing bonus point.

The best of their chances came in the dying minutes when Jonny Shiels raced into space, but his pass to Simon Danielli was not the best and the opening went untaken.
