Paul Marshall played at scrum-half for Ireland | James Hook's 80th-minute try helped Wales secure their second successive win of the U21 6 Nations championship. The Welsh led 7-6 at half-time, with Alun Wyn Jones scoring the try, which Hook converted, while for Ireland, Conan Doyle landed two penalties. Hook converted his own late try and the visitors survived a late scare when Fionn Carr's injury-time try was converted by Jonathan Sexton. This brought Ireland to within a point but the final whistle blew soon after. Wales Under-19s clinched the Triple Crown in emphatic style with a 31-6 win over Ireland in Blackrock, Dublin.
