Italy coach Pierre Berbizier has drafted Bourgoin lock Carlo Del Fava into his side for Saturday's RBS Six Nations Championship clash with France. Del Fava, who replaces the injured Santiago Dellape, is the first alteration Berbizier has made to his starting line-up in the tournament.
Valerio Bernabo was another alternative to Dellape but is on the bench instead.
Utility back Ezio Galon and number eight Alessandro Zanni are also called up to the bench for the game in Paris.
Flanker Silvio Orlando and fly-half Rima Wakarua are the players to drop out of the match-day 22.
