Forwards Marcus Horan, Mick O'Driscoll, Jamie Heaslip, Neil Best, Matt McCullough and Bryan Young are joined by Denis Hickie, Girvan Dempsey, Robert Kearney and Barry Murphy.
Ulster and Ireland A prop Young is called up because of an injury doubt over Reggie Corrigan, who suffered a neck strain playing for Leinster.
Munster pair Anthony Foley (ankle) and John Kelly (groin) have been ruled out of the game. Foley was injured during the Celtic League defeat by Glasgow on Saturday.
