65 mins: Auckland have noticeably upped the pace as the Lions continue to concede penalties and, subsequently, territory.
61 mins: CONVERTED TRY Auckland 13-14 Lions

Jason White is replaced by Martin Corry in the Lions back row.
52 mins: PENALTY Auckland 6-14 Lions:
The Lions are harshly adjudged to have killed the ball and concede a penalty out wide on the left. Ward sticks over an excellent kick from a tight angle.

Will Greenwood is replaced for the Lions by Shane Horgan.
45 mins: Auckland turn defence into attack in an instant. Another lovely step from Atiga takes him clear and it briefly looks like a game of sevens as the Auckland backs give and take passes. But the Lions snuff out the danger.
44 mins: Brent Cockbain - on for Kay - is lucky to avoid a yellow card as he exchanges blows with Auckland scrum-half Steve Devine.
42 mins: Another bright start for the Lions as a quick tap penalty form Dawson gets them in behind the Auckland defence. But a knock-on spoils the move and the Lions then concede a penalty at the scrum.
41 mins: Lavea kicks off to get the second half started.
HALF-TIME: Auckland 3-14 Lions
39 mins: TRY Auckland 3-14 Lions
Cueto glides past four defenders on a beautiful run before being hauled down just short of the try-line. The ball is recycled instantly and a cut-out pass from Dawson sees Williams dive in next to the corner flag on the right. O'Gara's conversion curls wide.
35 mins: PENALTY Auckland 3-9 Lions
Lavea has lost the plot for Auckland and another handling error gifts more dangerous possession to the Lions. They win a penalty and O'Gara pops it over with ease.
32 mins: A fabulous attacking move from the Lions sees the ball go through dozens of pairs of hands and gets within a scoring pass of a try under the posts. Williams is taken out off the ball just before going over to win the Lions a penalty.
But the decision is reversed after a bout of fisticuffs breaks out, with lock Ben Kay left sporting a massive black eye.
29 mins: PENALTY Auckland 3-6 Lions
Brent Ward narrows the gap almost straight away for Auckland with a tricky penalty on the left. Prop John Hayes is pinged for an offence at the scrum after Shaw had put his side under pressure with a mistake at the restart.

A poor pass from Lavea puts his side under pressure and they have no choice but to concede a try under their posts. O'Gara has no difficulties in knocking it over for a six-point lead.

21 mins: An old-fashioned tap penalty move sees John Afoa get the ball behind a four-man screen after a string of dummy runners fool the defence. He drives to the line but superb defensive work from Dawson and Williams see the ball held off the ground. The video referee disallows the score.
Hodgson has hobbled off for the Lions, to be replaced at number 10 by Ronan O'Gara.
20 mins: After a bright start, the Lions are losing their way. A dawdling Dennis Hickie has a kick charged down inside his own half and the Auckland hooker Semisi Telefoni is straight through on Hodgson to regain possession.
The Auckland forwards recycle but the Lions concede a penalty.
19 mins: Lions lock Simon Shaw steals another Auckland line-out to avert the danger.
18 mins: Two delightful passes from Auckland fly-half Tasesa Lavea open up the Lions defence and the ball goes wide to Rokocoko. Again he beats the first defender, but it takes two men to bring him down.

The Lions take a deserved lead through a simple Hodgson penalty after hands in the ruck from Auckland. A good break from Matt Dawson and interplay from the forwards and Gordon D'Arcy set up the initial attacking position.
