South Africa's Percy Montgomery has successfully challenged his sending off in the Springboks 33-16 win over Wales. At a hearing in London, IRB judicial officer Jeff Blackett adjudged the incident leading to his first yellow card was a legitimate tackle.
He therefore dismissed that punishment and rescinded the full-back's red card.
Springboks coach Jake White can now select Montgomery for Saturday's Test against France in Paris. Breyton Paulse was called up as cover on Monday.
