England's women romped to a commanding 76-0 win over Spain on Saturday, running in a total of 14 tries. Captain Jo Yapp, who missed the Ireland game with injury, scored a hat-trick, while her Worcester team-mate Kim Shaylor also touched down three times.
Yapp said: "It was a bit scrappy in the first half, but we still managed to score six tries. After half-time we managed to move the ball around more.
"I was just pleased to be back, so to score three was a real bonus."
Sue Day scored two tries in the opening 40 minutes, while Michaela Staniford picked up her first five points for England in the same half.
There were also tries in the game from Vicky Massarella, Charlotte Barras, Susie Appleby, Amy Turner and Rochelle Clark.
And head coach Geoff Richards said: "I thought we played really well and credit to the whole squad for the way we stuck to the task for the full 80 minutes.
"The Spanish are no pushover as their other Six Nations results show, so to score 14 tries and concede none is a big achievement."
England's final Six Nations game is against Scotland at Twickenham on Saturday 19 March at 1445 GMT.
