England coach Andy Robinson paid tribute to his side after they broke their duck in this year's Six Nations with a 39-7 win over Italy. "I am pleased with the way we played. The back three, with the way they worked off the ball, were tremendous," said Robinson.
"We got a bit stuck after 20 minutes and that is a bit frustrating.
"But after that, when we got more offloads and spread the ball wide, it was superb."
Although it was not an entirely convincing performance, the fact that England managed to score six tries as they ended their four-game losing streak will be a real boost for the final game against Scotland.
"Everything is about moving forward, the next game is Scotland and that's a tough challenge for us. It's about putting games together," he said.
"We are building, moving forward, it was a step in right direction.

"We bombed five tries, three were clear-cut, but we will look at the video and build from this."
Martin Corry was named captain for the game in place of the injured Jason Robinson and was hugely impressive in a man-of-the-match display.
"We were desperate for the win and thankfully we got it," he said.
"We had to work hard for the win. Italy have a physical pack and strong runners out wide and we knew we had to keep our composure and the scores would come.
"There is a lot more to come. We are making small steps and not the large ones we want but we will keep on improving. We are fairly satisfied.
"I had time to myself before the game to take it all in being captain. It was a huge honour and I am pleased we could back it up with a win."
