Gregan targets tour clean sweep
Australia captain George Gregan
Gregan now has 102 caps to his name
Australia captain George Gregan insists his side must win all four Tests for their forthcoming European tour to be considered a success.

The Wallabies have lost six of their last seven Tests away from home as they prepare for matches against Scotland (two), France and England.

"It is not impossible," Gregan said. "The really good teams play well and win enough games away from home.

"We want to put ourselves in that class so this tour is so important."

Australia have not lost to Scotland since 1982 but lost in their last Test on French soil three years ago, and have been defeated on their last three visits to Twickenham.

"The goal for us is to start playing well away from home and winning games away from home," Gregan added.

WALLABIES SCHEDULE
6 Nov:: Scotland (M'field)
13 Nov: France (Paris)
20 Nov: Scotland (Glasgow)
27 Nov: England (Twick'ham)
"It is pretty obvious we have not performed as well as we would have liked compared to what we do on our own shores."

The Wallabies' last away victory over one of the major nations was in New Zealand in August 2001.

Coach Eddie Jones hopes his side will follow the lead of the Australian cricket team, which has adapted well to different conditions on the subcontinent on their current tour of India.

Jones has had the Wallabies' training ground in Coffs Harbour saturated with water in an attempt to simulate the conditions they might encounter in Europe.

"It's about being flexible and adaptable and executing your technique better," added Jones, who has put an emphasis on an improved kicking game.

"We're never going to be the best kicking side in the world, but we've got to be better.

"You watch the Zurich Premiership and the European Cup and the playing conditions there make you kick."

Lock Justin Harrison twisted his ankle in training on Thursday but has been declared fit to tour.
