Rogers commits to Wallabies
Mat Rogers
Rogers has impressed since his switch from rugby league
Australia full-back Mat Rogers has signed a contract to keep him with the Wallabies until at least the end of the 2007 World Cup in France.

Rogers, who recently had ankle surgery, has won 19 Test caps since his switch from rugby league.

"Last year was an awesome experience, playing in the Rugby World Cup, and I've certainly got my sights set on France," said the 28-year-old.

Coach Eddie Jones said: "His transition from rugby league's been outstanding."

Rogers' fellow rugby league convert Lote Tuqiri has been targeted by National Rugby League hopefuls Gold Coast.
