Scott Murray is optimistic he will not miss Scotland's autumn Tests after surgery on a knee injury. Murray had key-hole surgery to repair the damage and expects to be fit in time for the Tests against Australia, South Africa and Japan.
"They said it was going to be three months and I was a little frustrated," said Murray. "But now they're saying it is only going to be four to six weeks.
"Hopefully, with a bit of tough rehab, I will be back in four weeks."
Murray captained the Scots on their summer tour of Australia and New Zealand and the 28-year-old Edinburgh star has gathered 62 international caps since his debut in 1997.
