Hotel ships for Lions fans

Floating hotels could be used to help with accommodation shortages when fans of the British Lions travel to New Zealand for next summer's tour.

More than 20,000 fans are expected to travel down under and New Zealand's towns are likely to struggle to supply sufficient facilities.

New Zealand rugby union chief Steve Tew admitted there was a problem.

"We have to be innovative. We're not like Australia with cities which can cope with 40,000 visitors," he said.
