Wallaby duo set for debuts
David Croft in action for Queensland
Croft looks set to start from the bench
David Croft and Adam Freier are expected to make their Australian debuts against Argentina on Saturday.

Coach Eddie Jones hinted on Monday he would include both forwards in the 22-man squad to face the Pumas in Buenos Aires.

Fly-half Matt Giteau is also in the running for a first cap.

Jones said: "All of them have got a chance, probably Giteau is the outside chance, but the other two are certainly well in the running to be involved in the 22."

Croft and Freier are both expected to start the game from the bench, Freier as back-up for hooker Jeremy Paul and Freier in place of back-row forward David Lyons.

Lyons, used from the bench as an impact player in recent tests, is struggling with a knee injury.

Jones revealed: "He (Lyons) is probably between 80-90% at the moment and won't be available for Argentina.

That gives us an opportunity to get some fresh legs in the side for the Ireland game
Eddie Jones looks ahead

"It's a fairly serious injury - this will be his fifth week out- so he probably just needs to have another week. We expect him to be fine for the Ireland game on 9 November."

The Wallabies arrive in Dublin on Monday, just five days ahead of the second Test of their autumn tour.

And Jones warned two very different sides could line up against the Argentines and Ireland.

"We've got an unusually short preparation for a Test," said Jones.

"That gives us an opportunity to get some fresh legs in the side for the Ireland game which also fits in with our strategy of looking towards next year's World Cup."
