Sailor rejoins Wallabies squad
Wendell Sailor
Sailor played in the Tests against France
Former rugby league winger Wendell Sailor has been included in Australia's squad for the Tri-Nations match against South Africa on 27 July.

Openside flanker David Croft has also been drafted in, suggesting coach Eddie Jones wants to pick up the pace of his back row.

The pair are additions to the 22-man squad that was beaten 12-6 New Zealand in the Tri-Nations opener on Saturday.

ACT Brumbies' lock Daniel Vickerman was left out of the Wallabies' squad that travelled to New Zealand last weekend.

"Daniel hasn't played rugby for a while so he'll return to the Tooheys New Cup this weekend," Jones said on Monday.

Jones is confident injured winger Stirling Mortlock will overcome a shoulder injury and play against the Springboks.

"We won't know any more on Stirling until Wednesday when he'll be reassessed," Jones said.

"He'll only undergo a scan if Wednesday's examination suggests further investigation is needed."

Australia squad: Chris Latham, Ben Tune, Stirling Mortlock, Wendell Sailor, Mat Rogers, Matt Burke, Daniel Herbert, Stephen Larkham, Elton Flatley, George Gregan (capt), Chris Whitaker, Toutai Kefu, David Lyons, Matt Cockbain, David Croft, Owen Finegan, George Smith, Justin Harrison, Nathan Sharpe, Ben Darwin, Patricio Noriega, Bill Young, Jeremy Paul, Brendan Cannon.
