| Wednesday, 22 May, 2002, 10:25 GMT 11:25 UK Henderson doubt for final Rob Henderson (with ball) has a worrying heel injury Lions star Rob Henderson has joined Munster's growing casualty list in the run-up to Saturday's Heineken Cup final against Leicester. Henderson, who has had an injury-ridden season, has now been troubled by a heel problem. He has been a regular visitor to the Munster physio room along with Paul O'Connell, Anthony Foley, Jim Williams and Anthony Horgan. And now it appears that Henderson could miss Munster's second final in two seasons. Like the rest of the walking wounded, Henderson will be given every chance before a final decision is made before the formal team selection on Friday. Major doubt Coach Declan Kidney will name a 24-man squad on Wednesday after Munster's last full-contact session. Kidney is, however, almost certain to include all of his injured parties. Henderson, Williams, Foley, and Horgan are almost certain to be ready with the one major doubt over lock O'Connell. "You can't wrap them up and put them away,'' said Kidney. "We've always been believers that there's no point in complaining about things like injuries. ''We just have to get on with it." |
