Wasps' Tim Payne has received a two-week ban for clashes with Gloucester's Jim Hamilton and Brett Deacon, while Deacon has been banned for one week.

England loose-head prop Payne, 31, stamped on Hamilton and struck Deacon during Wasps' 22-20 loss last month and was banned for a week for each offence.

Both Deacon, who struck the Wasps prop, and Payne pleaded guilty before a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel.

The Wasps man can return on 19 October, with Deacon back seven days earlier.

The citing of Exeter's Chris Budgen for striking Harlequins' Mike Brown at the Twickenham Stoop on 25 September was dismissed.
