Coventry beat Birmingham & Solihull in bid for survival
Coventry's hopes of avoiding relegation from the Championship were boosted with a 38-35 victory over Birmingham & Solihull at Sharmans Cross Road.
Cov had trailed 28-10 but scored just before the interval to give them the momentum going into the second half.
The visitors ran in five tries in all, the last coming from Dai Maddocks which was converted by Ben Russell.
The victory moved Cov up to second in the play-offs, one point above Moseley and a further point clear of Bees.
Club president Peter Rossborough told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "The lads played incredibly well and showed incredible spirit and commitment.
"The last four or five minutes when we were ahead by three points with Birmingham pressing was rather nerve-racking to say the least."
Phil MacKenzie, Joe Merrigan, Nathan Jones and Fangatapu Apikotoa scored Cov's other tries with Apikotoa converting them all and kicking a penalty too.
Next up for Coventry is a trip to Moseley this Saturday before entertaining Rotherham in their final game.
