Hammond looks for unbeaten finale

Hammond says his side's away form is key

Nottingham captain Craig Hammond says a top-four finish is still possible despite Saturday's 20-6 defeat by National One strugglers Rotherham.

Hammond says his side must finish the season unbeaten to secure a top-four spot and a place in the EDF Energy Cup.

He told the club website: "Our results away from Meadow Lane have not been fantastic recently.

"That has to change and I am positive it will start on Wednesday night against Sedgley Park."

The Green & Whites face two home and four away games before the season ends in four weeks' time.

Nottingham are currently fifth in the table with 78 points, 15 points behind Doncaster.
