Davey came out of retirement for Coventry (Sportrait/Colin Cruwys) |
Coventry Rugby Club's player-coach Brett Davey has resigned from his job at the National League One side. The Wales A international tendered his resignation on Wednesday after falling out with the team selection committee.
Davey only took up the position at the end of last year when former head coach Murray Henderson moved to a new community development job.
Forwards coach Dave Addleton will take charge of the team for Saturday's home match with Plymouth Albion.
