Brett Davey dropped himself for the match (Sportrait/Colin Cruwys) |
Coventry RFC player-coach Brett Davey launched a scathing attack on his side following their 24-0 National Trophy exit at Exeter. Davey told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "There was just no heart, no passion.
"I don't think Exeter Chiefs are a great side by any stretch of the imagination but we made them look like absolute world-beaters.
"We just simply capitulated for 25 minutes. It's the most embarrassing 25 minutes of my career so far."
