Gloucester recovered from conceding a first-minute try to stay unbeaten but Worcester still seek their first win.
Jack Adams' try cancelled out Shane Drahm, but Gloucester almost self-destruced when Peter Buxton and James Forrester were both sin-binned.
Dale Rasmussen gave Worcester a half-time lead but Lamb kicked kept the visitors ahead on 57 minutes.
Anthony Allen pushed them clear and although Thomas Lombard pulled a try back, Ian Balshaw made sure of the win.
Worcester director of rugby John Brain: "We would have liked to have had a bigger lead at half-time, and we didn't
really take advantage of the double sin-binning.
"We have got to be more clinical to beat teams at the top. We gave them a tough game, but that doesn't put any more points on the league table for us.
"The key thing now is what we do from here on."
Gloucester coach Dean Ryan: "I thought the young backs were outstanding. They did not give an inch in terms of physical contact.
"They are all developing, and we must not lose sight of that fact, but every
time they find themselves in a pressure environment they seem to revel in it.
"It was a tremendous test of character for the team. They did us proud."
