Borthwick to miss rest of season

Borthwick made his Bath debut in the 1998/99 season
Bath skipper Steve Borthwick will miss the rest of the season after undergoing a minor knee operation, but is expected to be fit for England's summer tour.

The 26-year-old forward had surgery to correct cartilage damage on Wednesday.

It means the England lock will miss the last two Premiership games of the season against Sale and Worcester.

Borthwick, who replaced Jonathan Humphreys as skipper last summer, has started 22 club games this season and led Bath to the Heineken Cup semis.
