Worcester have moved quickly to signed former Wales and Lions prop Darren Morris from Leicester. The Tigers announced on Tuesday that Morris, 31, would be released from Welford Road at the end of this season.
Worcester director of rugby John Brain wasted no time in snapping him up on a two-year deal.
"We are very pleased with this signing. Darren's ability on both sides of the scrum will greatly add to our depth of resources at prop," said Brain.
"I'm sure that he'll be keen to secure a starting berth in our team."
Morris has won 18 caps for Wales and toured Australia with the Lions in 2001.
"It's a great challenge for me joining up with Worcester and I was extremely encouraged when I met up with the coaching staff and management at the club," he said.
"Worcester have real ambition and it's good to be part of that."
Worcester have already agreed a new two-year deal with Tongan prop Tevita Taumoepeau, while Wales international Chris Horsman is expected to be fit for pre-season after undergoing ankle surgery.
