King has won three successive league titles with Wasps |
Fly-half Alex King has become the latest player to agree a new deal with Wasps, signing a one-year extension until the end of next season. He follows the likes of Josh Lewsey, Joe Worsley and Mark Van Gisbergen, who all recently penned fresh terms.
King, capped five times by England, has made more than 240 appearances for Wasps since joining the club in 1996.
Wasps rugby director Ian McGeechan said: "He's been one of the key players in the team over the past 10 years."
King, 31, has scored 1,339 points and helped the side land three successive league titles in addition to their 2004 Heineken Cup triumph.
"Alex is an accomplished fly-half, and we are very glad to be retaining his services next year," McGeechan added.
