Llewellyn won 92 caps for Wales

The 37-year-old has started 17 matches this season and has impressed Bristol head coach Richard Hill.

Hill said: "He is such a good player and has been a really important member of the side this season. He is in good physical shape and he belies his age."

Llewellyn added: "I wanted one last crack at the Premiership and this is a really good club to be at. When I was offered another year, I jumped at it."
