Garvey scored 28 tries in his five-year career at Gloucester |
Winger Marcel Garvey has completed a move from his hometown club Gloucester to Worcester Warriors. Worcester's director of rugby John Brain said: "I signed Marcel at Gloucester as a schoolboy, and he is strong and a top-class finisher.
"I'm surprised Gloucester have let him go, but it won't be a surprise to me or most other people in the game if he does very well for Worcester."
The 23-year-old made 84 appearances for Gloucester, scoring 28 tries.
Garvey has also represented England A and England U21 and was an integral part of the under-21 World Cup team in 2004.
Gloucester head coach Dean Ryan said: "Marcel is an extremely talented individual, but both parties feel he needs a change in his career path and we wish him well in the future."
