Relief at Fuimaono injury verdict
Eliota Fuimaono
Fuimaono only joined Bath in January
Bath have been handed some good news after it emerged Eliota Fuimaono's knee injury is not as bad as was feared.

The Samoan centre left The Rec on crutches on Saturday after falling awkwardly during the first half of their 33-28 defeat by London Irish.

"I have a borderline grade 2/3 medial ligament injury to my knee. Hopefully I'll be back in action in six to eight weeks," said Fuimaono.

"It's awful luck but better news than expected," said coach Brian Ashton.
