Northampton clinch Browne signing
Northampton have completed the signing of Daniel Browne from Grenoble.

Saints, who signed Ben Lewitt from Bedford earlier this week, needed to bolster their back row after Andrew Blowers and Corne Krige left the club.

New Zealand-born Browne is qualified for Ireland through his parents and spent three years with Grenoble.

Saints head coach Budge Pountney said: "Daniel has had fantastic experience playing for Grenoble. He will be a welcome member of our squad."

Browne is 6ft 5ins tall and weighs in at 17 stone. He joins Sam Harding and Lewitt as Saints' back-row signings for the 2005/06 season.
