Saracens head coach Mike Ford:
"Earlier in the season we played some good rugby and lost matches but we are in the business of winning.
"We showed great character to win the game after being 14 points down."
Northampton director of rugby Budge Pountney:
"You cannot doubt our ability to score tries and play rugby but Saracens sucked it up up front, took it to us and got their just rewards.
"We have things to work on and we have to learn how to stop other sides playing the sort of rugby they want to. We have a couple of things we want to work on defensively.
"The fans want to see their team win but we are developing a brand of rugby we want to play."
