Bath hooker Lee Mears has signed a new two-year deal with the club that will keep him at The Rec until 2007. The 26-year-old, who joined Bath in 1998, has been in superb form recently and helped his side beat Gloucester on Sunday to reach the Powergen Cup final.
"Lee has served a long apprenticeship with the club," said Bath rugby director Jack Rowell.
"After patiently waiting for his chance, he is now making the most of the opportunity."
