London Irish prop Rob Hardwick escaped serious injury after being knocked unconscious during Sunday's Powergen Cup defeat to Saracens. The 36-year-old, capped once by England in 1996, was taken to Watford General Hospital with a suspected neck injury.
But after a series of X-rays, doctors were able to confirm Hardwick had not broken or damaged any bones.
Hardwick remained in casualty on observation for three hours before being allowed home on Sunday night.
