Exiles' Hardwick out of hospital
London Irish skipper Rob Hardwick has his neck injury treated on the field
London Irish prop Rob Hardwick escaped serious injury after being knocked unconscious during Sunday's Powergen Cup defeat to Saracens.

The 36-year-old, capped once by England in 1996, was taken to Watford General Hospital with a suspected neck injury.

But after a series of X-rays, doctors were able to confirm Hardwick had not broken or damaged any bones.

Hardwick remained in casualty on observation for three hours before being allowed home on Sunday night.
