 | Leeds (0) 5 Tries: Rees Saracens (5) 14 Tries: Ibanez Pens: Jackson 3 |
Saracens registered their third away win in a row in the Zurich Premiership as they swept by a poor Leeds side.
Both teams committed a string of errors but Saracens' dominant forward play and a controlled performance by stand-off Glen Jackson gave them victory.
Leeds struggled with their kicking game in the absence of regular goalkickers Lee Stimpson and Gordon Ross.
Raphael Ibanez went over for a first-half try for Saracens while Jackson added three crucial penalties.
Leeds director of rugby Phil Davies paid tribute to the commitment of his
players despite seeing them crash to their third successive league defeat.

Because of international call-ups and injuries, Davies had just 16 members of
his first-team squad to choose from.
"After the week we've had I thought the players performed miraculously,"
he said.
"After all the effort that's gone in this week it's disappointing not to get
anything.
"We have five games left in the Premiership, and we've got a full complement
of players back next week."
Saracens coach Steve Diamond was understandably satisfied with his
team's win.
"It wasn't very pretty but once we realised the game plan was to keep it in
our forward pack, we got on top and could have scored two or three tries," he said.
"Leeds played very well considering their circumstances, particularly at the
line-out, but they just couldn't control us at the ruck or the maul."
