Wasps moved up to second in the Premiership table after a hard-fought win over Worcester at Causeway Stadium. Raphael Ibanez drove over to give Wasps the lead before Pat Sanderson ploughed over for the visitors soon after.
A Shane Drahm penalty gave Worcester a 10-7 half-time lead but Tom Voyce hit back after the restart and two Mark van Gisbergen penalties made it 20-10.
A try from Wasps flanker Joe Worsley put the result beyond doubt before Nicolas le Roux scored a consolation.
Worcester coach John Brain said his side should take heart despite losing to the defending champions.
Brain said: "Credit to Wasps - they're not champions for nothing. They've got a good set of forwards and their backs can play but we troubled them a bit.
"The try Tom Voyce scored just after half-time was a killer blow because we'd been going forward.
"But we can't be too disappointed. We've had two wins and a draw and we had opportunities to win this one."
