Saint Boome facing long lay-off | Boome is likely to be out until February | Northampton lock Selbourne Boome will be out for up to three months after having a knee operation. The former South African international underwent surgery on Wednesday and is not expected to return until February. Deep bone bruising had been troubling Boome for a few months and resulted in his knee swelling after each game. Boome is not expected to be able to train until February but club medics are hoping he could return to action ahead of schedule.
