Moody targets comeback

Moody has hardly played since the World Cup

Leicester and England flanker Lewis Moody hopes to return to action in early September after recovering from a long-standing foot injury.

The 26-year-old missed the last six months of last season and England's summer tour with a stress fracture that was potentially career-threatening.

But he has started jogging again in recent weeks as he nears the end of an intensive rehabilitation programme.

"Touch wood, fingers crossed, I should be back playing in September," he said.
